  • The following recipe serves 4-12 people.

Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 16 to 20 ounces plum tomatoes (4-5 tomatoes, lightly seeded and diced)
  • 1 small yellow onion, fine diced
  • 2 scallions, diced (white and green parts)
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice (more or less to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Salsa ... Add everything to a bowl; and toss to combine. Start with a pinch of salt and pepper; then, adjust accordingly. Cover with plastic wrap; and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving. ENJOY!

  • Step 2: As mentioned, it is great as a garnish on soups, chili, any Mexican dishes, grilled seafood, chicken or pork, etc. Now, if serving it with chips; I may add some jalapeno, corn, peppers, green chilies; and, a few more spices. But, this is just a simple recipe used more as a garnish.
