Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips (I am going to use a mix of dark and milk chocolate)
  • 1 teaspoon shortening
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix cream cheese and butter and extract together until well combined. Add in confectioner's sugar until the mixture forms a soft dough ball. It shouldn't be sticky, and should roll easily into balls.

  • Step 2: Roll the dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet that has been lined with wax paper. Flatten each ball with the bottom of a glass.

  • Step 3: Refrigerate patties for 2 hours until chilled and firm.

  • Step 4: Melt chocolate and shortening together.

  • Step 5: Coat the cold patties into the chocolate, and place on the wax paper. Place back in the fridge to harden further.

  • Step 6: Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
