Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons oil (olive oil)
  • 1 onion, medium (finely chopped)
  • 3 garlic clove, large (minced)
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Drizzle oil in to a pan, add onions and garlic, saute for approximately 8 minutes over medium heat or until the onions are nicely browned.

  • Step 2: Add remaining ingredients to the pan, except parsley, cover, turn heat to low, cook for 25 minutes, giving it a few stirs.

  • Step 3: Cook until the liquid has been absorbed and the rice is cooked

  • Step 4: Remove bay leaf, stir in parsley and serve
