Step 1: Quarter the fruit.

Step 3: Bring to a boil.
Step 4: Add the sugar.
Step 5: Cook for about 30 minutes.
Step 6: Strain through a fine-mesh sieve lined with a paper towel or a cheesecloth.
Step 7: Store in the refrigerator.
