Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 F.
Step 2: Cut all the the bacon slices in half.
Step 3: Wrap one half a slice of bacon around each smokie.
Step 4: Place all the wrapped smokies in a single layer in a baking dish, or rimmed sheet pan. Pour melted butter over the smokies. Then take some brown sugar and sprinkle evenly over the smokies.
Step 5: Bake for about 45 minutes or until bacon is nice and crisp.
Step 6: Stick a toothpick into each sausage.
