  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup beef broth (good quality)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the first 10 ingredients in a large re-sealable plastic bag and shake bag to mix.

  • Step 2: Place in the refrigerator overnight.

  • Step 3: Pour the contents of the bag in the crock of a slow cooker along with the chopped peppers and onion.

  • Step 4: Mix together the beef broth and cornstarch and stir into the crock; cover and cook over low heat for 8 to 9 hours.
