Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups oats (dry old-fashioned oats)
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup whole milk (warm)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons maple syrup (or brown sugar)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • FOR SERVING
  • Chopped nuts, toasted
  • Chopped fresh fruit (any of your favouite fruit, I like fresh peaches)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large bowl, stir together oats, buttermilk, milk, syrup, vanilla and cinnamon. Divide between two 4 containers (one serving each container). Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.

  • Step 2: Just before serving, stir oats mixture, then top with fruit and nuts. Enjoy!
