Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound cod fish fillets (fresh is best to use but you could use frozen thawed)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 ounces beer (your personal favorite
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs (fine)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, snipped
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon wedges

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Step 2: Place flour in a shallow dish.

  • Step 3: In another shallow dish pour in the beer.

  • Step 4: In a third shallow dish combine the bread crumbs, almonds and thyme.

  • Step 5: Dip fish into the flour, turning to coat, then dip into the beer, then into the crumb mixture.

  • Step 6: Place on prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with oil.

  • Step 7: Bake for 4 to 6 minutes per 1/2-inch thickness.
