  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk

  • Pie crust (8-inch, pie crust pastry for double-crust)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 325 F.

  • Step 2: Mix butter and brown sugar. Stir in egg. Sift flour with salt and add to the sugar mixture; stirring to incorporate thoroughly.

  • Step 3: Add milk. Mix until smooth. Pour in bottom crust and set top crust in place, crimping edges and cutting a 1/2-inch hole in middle of top crust.

  • Step 4: Bake for 45 minutes, or until set. Remove and allow to completely cool on wire rack.
