Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound chicken legs (cut into 3/8-inch strips (about the size of a pinky finger)
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • Oil (for frying, 2 cups + 2 teaspoons vegetable oil)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon rice wine
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 jalapenos peppers, cut in half lengthwise then cut into about 3 pieces
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix well chicken and ΒΌ cup cornstarch. Allow to stand for 5 minutes.

  • Step 2: Heat the vegetable oil. Fry chicken until it is crispy. Add jalapenos for 10 seconds, then remove chicken and jalapenos from oil. Keep wok hot.

  • Step 3: Add 2 teaspoons vegetable oil into wok. Add chopped garlic, rice wine, soy sauce and chicken. Stir-fry well.

  • Step 4: Add sugar and continue stirring for two minutes.

  • Step 5: Remove from heat and serve.
