The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon yellow onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (21 ounce) creamed corn
  • 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1 pound pork sausage

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter; saute green pepper and onion.

  • Step 2: Add milk, salt and pepper, and number 2 can of creamed corn. Add cracker crumbs.

  • Step 3: Pour into a greased 1 quart casserole.

  • Step 4: Shape pork sausage into 6 patties.

  • Step 5: Brown in a heavy skillet; discard fat.

  • Step 6: Place patties on top of corn mixture.

  • Step 7: Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
