Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup oil (vegetable oil)
  • 3 yellow onions, diced fine (3 medium onions but if you love onions, then add another)
  • 3 large garlic cloves, fine minced (to taste)
  • 1 pound cabbage, shredded (1/2 green cabbage head)
  • Salt & black pepper, coarsely ground (to taste)
  • 1 package (8 ounce) dry egg noodles (medium noodles, cooked according to package directions and drained)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sauté onions in oil until light brown, around 10-15 minutes, add in garlic and cook until soft, 2 minutes..

  • Step 2: When onions are light brown, add cabbage, cook together until soft (about 25 minutes) stirring from time to time, so vegetables don’t burn.

  • Step 3: Combine noodles and cabbage. Add salt and pepper.
