The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces bacon (8 slices)
  • 1 bag (16 ounce) coleslaw mix
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 1/4 pounds (6 potatoes, boiled)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a skillet fry the bacon. Drain, reserving drippings, crumble and set aside.

  • Step 2: In the reserved drippings, saute the cabbage and onion until soft.

  • Step 3: Mash warm potatoes with milk and butter, and season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 4: Fold in the bacon, cabbage and onions.
