Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 bag (16 ounce) frozen corn (partially thawed, Bird’s Eye Golden Sweet)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped yellow onion
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch (they used flour)
  • 2/3 cup light cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pimento
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the Bird’s Eye Corn in saucepan (note how perfect each tender kernel is); add butter and onion.

  • Step 2: Cover and heat until corn is completely thawed.

  • Step 3: Remove cover and saute about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle cornstarch over corn and blend quickly.

  • Step 5: Add cream or milk gradually, stirring constantly.

  • Step 6: Continue cooking over low heat until sauce is thickened-about 5 minutes.

  • Step 7: Add pimento, parsley, and seasonings.
