Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup dry jasmine rice (or Basmati rice)
  • 2 cups chicken broth (I use low sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 lemon, whole (juice of 1 lemon, approximately 1/4 cup)
  • Freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • Salt, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small saucepan, over high heat, combine rice, chicken broth, rosemary, and lemon juice.

  • Step 2: Bring to a boil, then stir.

  • Step 3: Cover, and reduce heat to a simmer.

  • Step 4: Cook for 15-20 minutes, until the rice has absorbed all the liquid.

  • Step 5: Fluff with a fork, and season with pepper and salt. to taste.
