  • 1 can (16 ounce) sauerkraut
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup cream (you can add milk like i have to)
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups instant potato flakes

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute onion in butter.

  • Step 2: Add sauerkraut (you can drain it) and saute until onion light gold.

  • Step 3: Add water, bring to a boil. Add potato flakes.

  • Step 4: Mix in cream to desired thickness.
