The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pound lima beans (fresh just shelled)
  • 3 ounces bacon (3 slices)
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • Rosemary (1 pinch)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook lima beans in water 20 minutes until soft.

  • Step 2: In skillet saute bacon; remove and set aside.

  • Step 3: Saute onion then garlic until golden.

  • Step 4: Add drained limas and saute a few minutes.

  • Step 5: Add salt and pepper and a pinch of rosemary.

  • Step 6: Toss with crumbled bacon and parmesan cheese.
