Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 ounces bacon (2 slices)
  • 1 pound chicken liver
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 pound mushroom, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (it said flour)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup light cream
  • 4 English muffins (split and toasted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Fry bacon until crisp remove.

  • Step 2: Brown livers in bacon grease and butter; remove.

  • Step 3: Brown mushrooms and onions, next stir 1/2 and 1/2 and stock and cornstarch and basil together add to mushrooms stir cook until thick add in livers; cook until livers are warmed and bubbly.

  • Step 4: Serve over muffins and top with crumbled bacon.
