Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons oil (sesame oil)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, minced
  • 2 teaspoons minced cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 pounds okra, chopped (4 cups is what recipe says)
  • 6 ounce tomato, chopped (1 tomato)
  • 12 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In oil heat up spices add onion. Add garlic, jalapeno and okra, then water; cook 10 minutes.

  • Step 2: Add tomato cook 5 more minutes until okra is tender (my tomatoes have tons of water but you may need a little so it doesnt stick).
