Step 1: In small bowl mix kasha with beaten egg, set aside.
Step 2: In skillet brown onions and mushrooms in oil.
Step 3: Add kasha and cook, separating grains until slightly toasted.
Step 4: Add broth, salt& pepper, bring to boil, cover and simmer until broth is absorbed, about 12 minutes.
Step 5: Mix in cooked bowties, season with additional salt& pepper.
