Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 large mushrooms (flat large, stalks trimmed, sliced into quarters)
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 small lime, juice of
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (extra virgin)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • BRAZILIAN SPICE INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander, ground seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried chili, flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the mushrooms, garlic, lime juice and olive oil in a bowl.

  • Step 2: Season the mushroom mixture with salt and pepper and set aside to marinate for 20 minutes.

  • Step 3: To make the spice mix, combine all the spices together.

  • Step 4: Toss the spices through the mushroom mixture and allow to stand for 10 minutes.

  • Step 5: Place the mushrooms on a preheated BBQ plate (medium heat) & BBQ and grill, carefully turning mushroom's frequently, until the mushroom are a golden brown colour.

  • Step 6: Remove and serve.
