  • 1 1/4 pounds potatoes (4 medium, peeled and cut in thin strips)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (cold, cut in pieces)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (any cheese may be used)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat grill to medium.

  • Step 2: Place potatoes in the center of a large piece of aluminum foil.

  • Step 3: Dot with butter.

  • Step 4: Add remaining ingredients.

  • Step 5: Bring edges of foil up, fold and crimp edges to form a tight packet.

  • Step 6: Grill for 30-40 minutes, turning entire packet two or three times.

  • Step 7: Serve directly from packet.
