Step 1: Whisk together brown gravy and 1 1/2 cups of water.
Step 2: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook patties in hot oil. Take at least two minutes on each side or wait until browned (don't cook all the way through). Once done, remove the patties from skillet.
Step 3: To the same pan add mushrooms and onion to the skillet. Sauté for 6 minutes or wait until they become tender. Stir in prepared gravy. Bring to a light boil. Return patties to skillet. Spoon gravy over each patty. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer into from 8 minutes to 10 minutes.
Step 4: Serve with mashed potatoes.
