Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds extra-lean ground beef
  • 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce (Bull's Eye original bbq sauce or your favorite bbq sauce, separated)
  • 4 ounces processed cheese slices (4 slices processed cheese)
  • 6 ounces bread buns (4 burger buns, your favorite, toasted)
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 ounces bacon (4 slices cooked, optional)
  • 4 slices onion (sweet onion, optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together the meat, egg, 2 tablespoon of BBQ sauce.

  • Step 2: Form into 4 patties.

  • Step 3: Heat large lightly oiled skillet over medium high heat.

  • Step 4: Fry the patties for apprx 8 minutes each side.

  • Step 5: Flip the burger. Baste cooked side with BBQ sauce.

  • Step 6: Just before they are done flip and baste the bottom side with BBQ sauce.

  • Step 7: Add cheese to each burger.

  • Step 8: Assemble burgers with the lettuce, tomato, onion & bacon.
