  • 1 cup instant rice
  • 1 cup cooked black beans
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon powder
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon fennel
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Indian Masala
  • Dash turmeric
  • Dash garlic powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: Ground the fennel into a powder with a spice grinder or mortar and pestle.

  • Step 3: Stir in the remaining ingredients, cover and set aside for 10 minutes.
