Step 1: Wash and cut up your potatoes into bite size cubes. You can peel or just scrub the skins.
Step 2: Cut up half an onion into bite size chunks.
Step 3: Start with 18 inches of tinfoil, spray the tinfoil with vegetable spray.
Step 4: Place cut up potatoes and onions on 1/2 of the foil.
Step 5: Season and add butter.
Step 6: Close the tinfoil by folding over the edges, making sure to seal well.
Step 7: I add one more layer of tinfoil to make sure I don't leaks.
Step 8: Place on the grill, and turn every 5 minutes with oven mitts. I cook with the lid on. You will feel the potatoes get soft as you are flipping it over.
