Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 3/4 cup yellow onion, chopped
  • 3/4 red pepper, chopped
  • 3/4 green pepper chopped
  • 3/4 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 12 ounces tomatoes (2 medium tomatoes, chopped)
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoon hot sauce (your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon Montreal steak spice
  • 3/4 cup tomato juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown your ground beef in a skillet. Drain any fat.

  • Step 2: Add onions & mushrooms to the skillet cook until onions are translucent.

  • Step 3: Add all the remaining ingredients. Bring to simmer, reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.

  • Step 4: Serve over either pasta, rice or mashed potatoes.
