Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound pork country-style ribs (about 4)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3/4 cup chopped yellow onions
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped mushrooms
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted (I use Healthy Request)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth, reduced sodium
  • 1/2 teaspoon kitchen bouquet (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage

How to Make

  • Step 1: Season ribs with salt and pepper.

  • Step 2: Heat butter and oil on medium high in skillet.

  • Step 3: Add ribs and brown on both sides, then remove from pan.

  • Step 4: Lower heat and saute onions, garlic and mushrooms for 3 minutes.

  • Step 5: Stir in soup, broth, water and kitchen bouquet.

  • Step 6: Add ribs to skillet and spoon soup mixture over meat.

  • Step 7: Bake covered at 350* for 35 minutes, flip ribs and spoon gravy over.

  • Step 8: Continue baking, covered another 30 to 45 minutes, or until meat is tender.
