Step 1: Butter a 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
Step 2: In a double boiler or in the microwave, melt peanut butter, butter and butterscotch chips and salt; stir until smooth.
Step 3: Mix in vanilla then coconut and marshmallows.
Step 4: Transfer mixture to prepared baking pan; smooth out with back of spoon; cool then refrigerate.
Step 5: Slice into bars.
