Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef (browned)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (more if needed)
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
  • 1 green bell pepper, small (chopped)
  • 15 ounces creamed corn
  • 1 can (14 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 6 ounces noodles, cooked (drained)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  • Step 2: Lightly Butter a shallow 2 quart baking dish; set aside.

  • Step 3: In a skillet, cook together the hamburger, green pepper and onion. Drain any liquid from skillet.

  • Step 4: Add the salt and pepper, cream corn, cream of mushroom, and cream cheese to the hamburger mixture; mix well.

  • Step 5: Mix in the cooked noodles to the hamburger mixture; mix thoroughly.

  • Step 6: Add the hamburger-noodle mixture into a lightly buttered 2 quart shallow casserole dish.

  • Step 7: Cover with foil and bake for 35-45 minutes.

  • Step 8: * Sometimes, I also add a 1/2 cup of fresh slice mushrooms to this dish just for something extra.
