Step 1: Preheat oven to 375F. Mix brown sugar and spices in a small bowl. Rub spice mixture evenly on ribs.
Step 2: Place ribs in a single layer on a foil lined roasting pan. Pour water into pan and cover with foil.
Step 3: Bake one hour, or until meat is starting to pull away from the bone. Brush with maple syrup.
Step 4: Broil or grill over medium heat for 3-5 minutes per side until heated through and nicely browned.
