Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 16 ounces dry rice (2 cups, dry)
  • 1 clove garlic , mashed
  • 4 ounces yellow onion (1/2 cup, diced)
  • 1/2 cup tomato, diced
  • 3 cups water (boiling)
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes , i used 1 myself
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro, dry

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oil. add onion, rice, tomato and garlic; cook until rice is lightly browned.

  • Step 2: Add water, bouillon and seasonings, stir well, bring to a boil.

  • Step 3: Tilt lid on pan to vent, simmer on low about 20 minutes, don't stir while cooking.
