Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing (bottled)
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 pounds beef flank steak

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all ingredients except steak in a large zipper type plastic bag.

  • Step 2: Add steak to bag, seal and marinate in refrigerator overnight.

  • Step 3: Grill steak over hot charcoal fire for 5 to 10 minutes on each side, depending on degree of rareness desired.

  • Step 4: Slice thinly across the grain.

  • Step 5: Can also be broiled in oven.
