Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons oil (cooking oil)
  • 2 pounds venison (stew meat)
  • 3 whole (1 1/2 pounds) yellow onions, coarsely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 3/4 pounds potatoes (7 potatoes, peeled and quartered)
  • 1 pound carrots (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1 bag (16 ounce) frozen peas

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oil add meat.

  • Step 2: Add onions add garlic.

  • Step 3: Throw everything but peas into crockpot and cook 5 1/2 hours .

  • Step 4: Add peas last.

  • Step 5: Heat just until peas are done.

  • Step 6: The recipe had flour added to it , but im not , but you could make a roux if you wanted to and add it with the peas and cook until thickened.
