Step 1: Preheat oven to 475°.
Step 2: Saute bacon until crisp.
Step 3: Drain, reserving fat.
Step 4: Crumble bacon.
Step 5: Combine flour with salt in a mixing bowl.
Step 6: Add milk, bacon and all the bacon fat except 1 tablespoon.
Step 7: Grease a 10" cake pan with the bacon fat.
Step 8: Pour well-blended batter into pan.
Step 9: Bake for about 20 minutes, or until top is light brown and cake tester comes out clean.
Step 10: Cool slightly before removing from pan.
