Step 1: Combine all ingredients except oil in a large bowl.
Step 2: Mix well.
Step 3: Form into a log 4" in diameter.
Step 4: Place in freezer for 1-2 hours, or until firm but not frozen.
Step 5: Slice sausage into 1/2" rounds.
Step 6: Heat oil in a large skillet over moderately high heat.
Step 7: Add sausage and cook until browned, about 3 minutes on each side.
