  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup oil (vegetable oil)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400F. Coat a 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray or line with paper liners.

  • Step 2: Combine dry ingredients (flour through brown sugar) in a mixer bowl.

  • Step 3: Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl; mix well.

  • Step 4: Add to flour mixture and mix until just blended.

  • Step 5: Fill muffin cups half full.
