Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 7 ounces dry macaroni pasta (2 cups, dry)
  • 2 cans (5 ounces) tuna (solid, packed in water, dont drain, she used Albacore)
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 10 3/4 ounces milk (1 soup can full)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (Hellman's, not Miracle Whip)
  • 2 tablespoons bread crumbs ( Italian-style fine bread crumbs, Progresso)
  • 2 tablespoons margarine (cut into slivers)
  • 1 cup Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper (to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook macaroni according to package directions to "al dente",

  • Step 2: Then drain and rinse with cool water, and let drain again.

  • Step 3: Meanwhile,

  • Step 4: Combine soup, mayonnaise and milk,

  • Step 5: And stir until smooth.

  • Step 6: Preheat oven to 350 degrees,

  • Step 7: And slightly grease a 2 quart glass baking dish.

  • Step 8: Mix macaroni, soup mixture, jack cheese,salsa, salt & pepper, and flaked tuna thoroughly in a large bowl.

  • Step 9: Pour mixture into baking dish,

  • Step 10: Sprinkle bread crumbs evenly on top,

  • Step 11: And then dot with margarine on top.

  • Step 12: Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
