Step 1: In a medium size saucepan, place cranberries, water, and 1/2 cup maple syrup. Bring to a boil.
Step 2: Reduce heat to medium and boil for about 10 minutes.
Step 3: Let cool.
Step 4: Can blend if you wish smoother.
Step 5: Stir in the additional 1/4 maple syrup.
