Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cup water (boiling)
  • 2 green onions ,minced ( my addition)
  • 4 tablespoons oil (they used bacon grease)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all the dry ingredients together. Pour boiling water over, stir with wooden spoon

  • Step 2: Add onions here

  • Step 3: (must be thick but still be able to slide off spoon).

  • Step 4: Spoon on to hot greased griddle adding oil as needed, they will be flat they taste better that way grease top before flipping.
