  • 1 (8 ounce) yellow onion (skin on)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: In covered roasting pan, place squash with whole onion inside rings, sprinkle with brown sugar then cover with enough water to stop from being burned.

  • Step 3: Cover then bake until tender, about 40 minutes.

  • Step 4: Remove the onion peel. Serve
