The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound sweet potatoes (peeled and cut into 1 1/2 inch chunks)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons oil (canola oil)
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice, ground
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons pecans (toasted and chopped)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Spray roasting pan with Pam.

  • Step 3: In the pan combine the first 7 ingredients (all ingredients except for pecans); toss.

  • Step 4: Roast, stirring occasionally or until potatoes are browned and tender.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle with pecans.
