Step 1: In a non-reactive bowl or zip-lock bag combine the chicken with all the ingredients (not including the glaze) and mix together and marinate in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight (I mixed the marinade ingredients in a jug and poured over the wings in the zip-lock bag and gave them a massage before putting in the refrigerator).
Step 2: Preheat oven to 180C
Step 3: On a large non-stick tray arrange the chicken in one single layer and bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes turning half way to ensure even cooking.
Step 4: In the meantime add the glaze ingredients to a small pot and bring to the boil before turning the heat down and simmering for 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 5: Once the chicken is cooked remove from the oven and place in a large bowl and immediately pour over the hot glaze and mix well to combine.
Step 6: Serve alone or with Asian green and hokkien noodles or other Asian noodles and garnish with coriander.
