Step 1: Boil beef chunks and onion in water until tender.
Step 2: Add corn and beans and heat thoroughly.
Step 3: Mash sunflower seeds by placing seeds between waxed paper and pressing with a rolling pin.( use sun butter)
Step 4: Bring beef mixture to a boil again and add mashed seeds, stirring well. Simmer until broth has thickened.
Step 5: Add salt and pepper.
