Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pizza crusts (8-inch, prepared such as Boboli)
  • 1/4 cup alfredo sauce
  • 1 can drained (170 gram) tuna
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 ounces grape tomatoes (or cherry tomatoes, about 12)
  • 4 teaspoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh basil
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped red onion
  • Fresh ground pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Balsamic vinegar to sprinkle over cooked pizza (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the pizza crusts on a baking sheet and spread the Alfredo sauce evenly over the crusts; give this a good sprinkle of garlic powder and sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the sauce.

  • Step 2: Add the mozzarella cheese and top with the remaining toppings; sprinkle with fresh ground pepper.

  • Step 3: Place in a preheated 375 degree Fahrenheit oven and cook for about 15 minutes, until cheese is melted.

  • Step 4: Remove pizza from oven and turn the broiler on; return the pizza to oven on the top rack and broil until cheese starts to bubble and brown, about 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Step 5: Remove pizza from oven, allow cooling for 5 minutes.

  • Step 6: Sprinkle with a bit of balsamic vinegar if using, slice and enjoy!
