Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 ounce) mixed vegetables (drained)
  • 1 can ( 10 3/4 ounce) condensed vegetable soup
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed mushroom soup (golden)
  • 1 (8 ounce) yellow onion (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups instant potato flakes
  • 1 green onion, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook beef, onion and garlic in 10" skillet over medium-high heat until well browned, stirring to break up meat.

  • Step 2: Pour off fat.

  • Step 3: Stir beef mixture , vegetable soup, can of veggies 1/2 can mushroom soup and Worcestershire in 12 x 8" shallow baking dish. mix

  • Step 4: Heat remaining soup, stock and butter in 2-qt. saucepan over high heat to a boil.

  • Step 5: Remove from heat.

  • Step 6: Stir in milk. Slowly stir in potatoes and green onion . Spoon potatoes on top of casserole.

  • Step 7: Bake at 400 degrees F. for 20 min. or until hot.
