Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces dry pasta (thin pasta like angel hair)
  • 2 fresh (1/2 pound) fresh boneless skinless chicken breast (cooked and cubed
  • 4 ounces pimento
  • 1 medium (8 ounce) yellow onion (chopped)
  • 1 rib (2 ounces) celery (diced, about 1 cup)
  • 1 (6 ounce) green bell pepper (diced, about 1 cup)
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cans (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 can (14 ounce) chicken broth
  • 2 cups shredded (16 ounces) cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • Butter, cubed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven 425F.

  • Step 2: Cook spaghetti in boiling water but not until done, leave it a little hard. Drain.

  • Step 3: Saute onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic powder in 3 tablespoons butter.

  • Step 4: Mix together sauteed vegetables with garlic powder, cooked chicken, condensed chicken soup, pimentos, salt and pepper and chicken broth. Toss mixture with cooked spaghetti. Place in buttered 2 quart baking dish.

  • Step 5: Combine the shredded cheese and panko crumbs together, then spread on top. Dot with butter.

  • Step 6: Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden.
