The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 4 shallots peeled and quartered
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup liquid honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Pinch hot pepper flakes
  • Salt
  • Pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Drizzle the oil in a skillet and bring to medium-high heat on the stove top; add the crushed garlic.

  • Step 2: Sprinkle the chicken strips with salt and pepper to taste, add to skillet and cook until you have a nice golden crust on both sides; remove the chicken pieces from skillet and set aside.

  • Step 3: Pour in the wine, add the sliced shallots and cook until wine is almost completely reduced.

  • Step 4: Whisk together the broth, honey, mustard, hot pepper flakes and cornstarch and slowly pour into the skillet.

  • Step 5: Add the chicken strips bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
