Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 roast turkey carcass
  • 12 cups water
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 onion, quartered
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In large stockpot, bring all ingredients to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 3 to 4 hours, or until liquid has decreased to about half.

  • Step 3: Store in airtight containers.
