Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 cups granola (crunchy granola)
  • 1/4 cup instant nonfat dry milk
  • 1/4 cup Cheerios cereal (or crisp rice cereal or a mixture)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins (OR other cut up dried fruit)
  • 3 tablespoons oil (or more)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2/3 cup peanut butter (crunchy)
  • 2 large eggs (well-beaten)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Generously grease and flour a 13x9 pan; set aside.

  • Step 2: Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  • Step 3: In medium bowl, mix crunchy granola, dry milk, cereal, cinnamon, salt and raisins or fruit. In a large bowl, combine oil, honey, vanilla, water and peanut butter. Stir to mix well. You may have to warm the peanut butter mix slightly to dissolve jelly or jam. When thoroughly mixed and cool, beat in the eggs.

  • Step 4: Gradually stir granola mixture into peanut butter mixture. Mix well. Press mixture into prepared baking pan.

  • Step 5: Bake 20-22 minutes.

  • Step 6: Cool 10 to 15 minutes in pan before cutting into bars.
